For too long, the NDSU golf team would approach its first tournament of the spring as a way to get into golf shape. With the frozen winters in Fargo, it was impossible for the team to get realistic practice on their short game. Now, stashed away on the third floor of the Sanford Health Athletic Complex, the golf team has a proper short game facility to help find their touch on the green.

“It is exciting to have our Bison golf short game area completed. We can now simulate chipping and putting in a way that really benefits our student-athletes.” – Steve Kennedy, Men’s Golf Head Coach
