After a fall devoid of North Dakota State sports talk, the Herd is back in a big way. The Bison women are off to a scorching 3-0 start under Jory Collins, and deserve to be rated in the Mid-Major Top 25. The Bison men nearly upset college hoops blue blood Kansas, falling agonizingly short at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence. The Herd takes on rivals South Dakota State and North Dakota this week in Sioux Falls in a round-robin featuring all four D-I Dakota schools.
Swany and Nolan cap this episode by discussing a national football media that, writ large, are seemingly taking delight in Carson Wentz’s tough year after the Eagles pulled North Dakota’s favorite son from their Sunday game against the Packers.
