The Bison took down 13th-ranked Youngstown during the 43rd annual Harvest Bowl at the Fargodome. NDSU’s defense allowed 314 yards but the Penguins’ offense was only able to score three points in the 24-3 Bison victory. Senior running back Chase Morlock had the play of the game with his 71-yard scamper to give the Bison the early 7-0 lead. He ended his day with 101 yards on the ground. NDSU managed to gain 240 rushing yards against a Youngstown defense that was allowing just over 102 per game.
