Photo Special to Bison Illustrated
Talk to any visitor who comes to Newman Outdoor Field. It’s likely they’re shocked by the beauty that is the home of the Bison baseball team. Thanks to the American Association’s Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, NDSU has been able to share its hidden gem with a professional team. Before Newman, which was built for $5.5 million, NDSU played at Jack Williams Stadium a mile east down the road. Today, they’re home to one of the best baseball stadiums in the Summit League.
50 Fave Stadiums: Texas

“It’s so nice and the energy level in our players is at a higher level. On the road, we play in some rough looking fields, and it doesn’t have a good college game feel.” – Tod Brown, Baseball Head Coach
